Private Party Rough Price Guide:
It is possible to hire the entire Waiting Room Restaurant, The Other Room Bar, vvroom, and/or the Conservatory as a room hire.
Our private hire price guide for Fridays and Saturdays, is for private use of the space, for any number of guests up to the maximum capacity, including typical food:*
Conservatory maximum capacity 60:

The Other Room is our does not have a lot of space/layout for food arrangements so that this should be taken into account and discussed.

vvroom is our fully licensed wood-fired pizza parlour, and also has beer taps and wine.
*typical food describes what most parties opt for, being along the lines of a hot buffet with several dishes, plus starter style 'nibbles' and salads etc.
We can provide more elaborate food and service, according to your wishes, at extra cost.
We can provide restaurant space hire on a similar basis at a lower price and a significnt saving on other days (Monday-Thursday). Please send all enquiries and we'll do our best for you.
Booking your Wedding
The Waiting Room is now a licensed premises for wedding ceremonies, so that the restaurant can now be booked as a venue for an entire wedding day, or else for 'the night do', lunch or celebratory party only.
1. If and when you choose The Waiting Room for your wedding ceremony (and/or celebrations) you should first of all check if The Waiting Room is available for the date/or choice of dates you have in mind.
2. If you do want to have your ceremony at The Waiting Room as well as your celebration party, you should then contact Stockton Registrars to see if they are available to conduct your legal ceremony at our venue on that date.

Stockton Registrars will talk you through the legal and ceremonial process, including how to advertise your notice of intention.
The registrar's fees are as follows;
Booking Fee is £55
Notices of intention to marry £46.50 each person
Cost of getting married payable to the registrars:
Monday-Thurday £519, Fri £582, Sat £693, Sun £751
Venue fee
The fee payable to The Waiting Room for hosting the ceremony. This is a separate cost to our private hire/catering charges for the party:
Monday-Thursday £280, Fri £320, Sat £350, Sun £320*
Ceremonies typically last half an hour. Stockton Registrars usually talk with the couple getting married for half an hour before the ceremony begins with guests.
The Waiting Room typically allows up to 2 hours to set up the room for the ceremony according to the wishes of the bride and groom, and up to an hour afterwards to reset the room for the party.
