OUR 40TH ANNIVERSARY WEBSITE

We've knocked up a new Waiting Room website as we ready ourselves for our 40th anniversary next year. As I write this first post on August 29th 2025 the site is in test mode, so that this is a test post, to see how this blogging lark works.

Our new website includes some of the graphics we have been working on with our brilliant French designers Claire Mouton and Hadrien Tranchant;

including this bespoke Waiting Room Vegetarian Restaurant custom typeface. Designed by Hadrien, it's based on an old hand-painted grocery store sign that we had as a piece of folk-art.

Their graphics also include paper cut-out vegetable illustrations like this;

The new website includes pdf's of our menus, posters, and newsletters. Here's our current Sunday Lunch menu as we test what can be included in these posts (jpeg not pdf it seems?)
