About the event
Jane Bom-Bane sings enchanting shanties with a found harmonium, and a mechanical hat, for every song. She sings of wondrous things, from Einstein's theories of relative relativity to Scottish castles, and overwhelming romantic feelings - like having a goldfish bowl on your head.
The Jane Bom-Bane Family Players are a collection of musicians and singers who perform regularly together at Bom-Bane's Belgian cafe and cellar theatre on George Street in Brighton. Bom-Bane's celebrates its 20th anniversary this year - having opened and 'twinned-with' The Waiting Room in 2006 - so that we'll have joint birthday celebrations as we mark our 40th and life's new beginnings.
