HALF MOON RISING
Elaine returned from California recently where she worked with producer and engineer Mike Butler whose credits include, Norah Jones, Ray LaMontagne, Phoebe Bridgers and The Pretenders. She recorded a mostly live album at Half Moon Lodge up in the San Diego hills over 8 days with a bunch of incredible musicians.…Matt Lynott (The White Buffalo drummer), Bobby Furgo (Leonard Cohen’s violinist) Patrick McClory and Dave Berzansky (Hacienda Brothers pedal steel), Mike Butler (guitars).
The outcome of these San Diego Sessions is her latest record HALF MOON RISING, with big country guitars, warm, rich and classic textures, Elaine’s vocals and songcraft shine, something very magical happened with this record. This is the album she was always meant to make!
